It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Lala D/A Junior High School. Our school exists to serve the educational needs of children in Lala and surrounding communities, and we remain committed to helping every learner discover his or her potential through quality teaching, discipline, encouragement and responsible guidance.
At Lala D/A JHS, we believe that education is not limited to passing examinations. It is also about building confidence, developing good character, learning to work with others and preparing young people to make meaningful contributions to their families, communities and country. For this reason, our teachers work hard to create lessons that are clear, practical and relevant to the everyday lives of our learners.
We recognise that every child is different. Some learners understand quickly, while others require additional explanation, patience and support. Our responsibility as educators is to provide an environment in which all learners feel respected, safe and motivated to improve. We encourage pupils to ask questions, participate actively in class, complete their assignments and seek help whenever they face difficulties.
Discipline remains one of the strongest pillars of our school. We teach learners to be punctual, honest, respectful and responsible. These values are essential not only in school but also throughout life. We therefore work closely with parents and guardians to ensure that the guidance pupils receive at home supports the standards and expectations of the school.
The success of a community school depends on cooperation. We are grateful to our teachers, non-teaching staff, Parent-Teacher Association, traditional leaders, local authorities and all community members who continue to support the school. Their contributions, advice and encouragement help us improve teaching, maintain school facilities and organise activities that benefit our learners.
As we look to the future, our goal is to strengthen academic performance, improve access to learning resources, increase the responsible use of technology and create more opportunities for sports, culture, leadership and practical skills development. We also hope to deepen our relationship with former pupils and well-wishers who may wish to support the school's growth.
